Johannes Fischbach holt sich den Sieg beim City DH Bratislava und baut damit seinen Vorsprung in der Gesamtwertung der City Downhill World Tour aus! Hier ist sein Winning Run.
Nachdem die Stimmung letztes Jahr beim City DH in Bratislava von rücksichtslosen Hooligans zerstört wurde, ging dieses Jahr umso mehr die Party ab. Johannes Fischbach kam gut mit dem technisch anspruchsvollen Kurs zurecht und holte sich verdient den Sieg!
“I had a crazy run! Tomas did beat be during qualifying, so i knew i had to push hard.
Straight out of the gate i gave it my all, in the second corner i made a huge mistake and had to click out of my pedal.
I really thought it’s done, it’s over. But from this mistake on i put my head down went full speed and took a lot of risks.
I knew i had to make up time, in the end I am happy i didn’t crash and could take home the win by 0,19 sec over Tomas.” – Johannes Fischbach
Jetzt ist erstmal eine lange Pause in der Serie, denn der nächste Stop in Taxco, Mexico findet erst Anfang November statt. Doch wie wir alle wissen, ist das Taxco Rennen der König aller City Downhills! Die Vorfreude ist groß.
