Rémy Métailler zerstört Hafjell Bikepark

Der Export-Franzose kann nicht nur Whistler! Remy Metailler ist nach Hafjell, Norwegen, rüber gejettet um den Bikepark ordentlich auseinander zu nehmen…oder so.

Dass Remy Metailler kein Racer ist, das wissen wir ja. Die ersten paar Sekunden wirken dementsprechend irreführend. Wofür macht Metailler sich bereit? Für den ultimativen Zerstörer-Run der keine Kurven stehen lässt?
Nein. Eine Runde durch die Bobbahn mit dem Bike natürlich! Das ist scheinbar die einzige Art von Racing die Metailler jemals in Angriff nehmen wird.

Remys Geheimnis

Aber warum ist der Whistler Stammgast eigentlich kein Racer? Das hat er gestern auf Instagram verraten, ein Grund den man niemals hätte ahnen können:

Here is the reason why I can’t race more than what I would love to and don’t get the results I am working for : My both hands can’t grip the bars long enough. Depending on the track I can loose all my grip strength after 1 minute. Everyone gets arm pumps, they are part of the sport but I should get them later than I do. I trained a lot, had one surgery per arm already for a bad compartment syndrome and tried every potential solution without much success. I will keep working on that and hopefully improve that a bit. Zu Glück hat Metailler seine eigene Bestimmung gefunden und kann seinen Traum, jeden Tag auf dem Bike zu sitzen trotzdem wahr machen. Und uns mit coolen Edits beglücken! Weiter so Remy.
